Why join Milton Park…

As a teacher at Milton Park, you will join a hardworking team and have the scope to be innovative, brave and ambitious. You will benefit from extensive, ongoing personal and professional development opportunities and a comprehensive wellbeing package as an employee of Extend Learning Academies Network (ELAN). Teachers are the backbone of every school and Milton Park is no different in that respect. We have some amazing educators that you will collaborate with, learn with and support. The school is on a continuous, positive, school improvement journey. We don’t stand still but always strive for the extraordinary. Milton Park provides a supportive, inclusive, immersive environment where you are able to succeed and contribute to the whole community.

Our learning environments have undergone big changes following a wider research project and you will benefit from calm, neutral, well-thought-out spaces in which to teach and nurture children. It’s really difficult to put the feeling that Milton Park gives you into words. The best way to get an idea of a place where magic happens is to visit us and see for yourself.

  • Early Career Teachers and/or experienced teachers welcome to apply.
  • You should be forward thinking, keen to progress and have strong team-working skills.
  • There is a possibility to take on extra responsibility.

Milton Park Primary School has been part of the community of Weston for over one hundred years and we pride ourselves on seeing families return time and time again. Our school is warm and welcoming, and you will be part of a supportive and dedicated team who provide an extraordinary education for the children it serves. This is what OFSTED said about us.

  •  'Pupils feel that staff will support them with any problem they have. Consequently, pupils feel safe because staff care for and nurture them.'
  •  ‘Every time you get something wrong, you learn something new.’
  •  'Staff feel that they are well supported because leaders are considerate of their workload. They feel that their well-being is a high priority for leaders.'

If you think you have the skills required to join our team, we look forward to welcoming you.
